A major mission of the NSF-sponsored University of Minnesota Geometry Center is to support, develop, and promote the communication of mathematics at all levels. We are committed to education, and our commitment is not limited to students of mathematics and computer science, but extends to disciplines that use mathematics, scientific visualization, and computer graphics. This article presents a few of our recent efforts to create educational programs that enhance the abilities of tomorrow's scientists and engineers to function in an increasingly technological workplace. We focus primarily on our efforts in the undergraduate curriculum, but also mention related efforts in K-12 education, graduate education, and professional development.
