The Boston University Differential Equations Project
The Boston University
Differential Equations Project approaches the subject of
differential equation from a dynamical systems point of
view. Qualitative, analytical, and numerical approaches are stressed
throughout in our approach to understanding solutions of differential
equations. A preliminary version of the text was published by
Brooks-Cole in November, 1995.
The problem in this lab on Bufo Marinus was inspired by
the article
Teaching Differential Equations With a Dynamical Systems Viewpoint,
Paul Blanchard, College Mathematics Journal, Volume 25,
no. 5, November, 1994, pp.385-395.
