Format Guidelines:

• Reduce the number of images used
• Don't use background images
• Don't change the text colors
• Don't use flashing letters
• Don't use animation unnecessarily

• Use netscape extensions cautiously
  • Make sure tables degrade graciously
  • Make sure centering, font sizes, and image placement are not crucial
    (don't say "image on the right")
  • Test with other browsers when you can
  • Use "smart tables" for crucial tabular data, or at least provide alternative presentations
  • Don't use frames unless they are important

• Note: in Netscape prior to v2.0
  • You can't search the contents of a table
  • You can't link to an entry in a table
