- Our home page has been restructured and enhanced; you will notice
first that the main topics each have a short explanation further
indicating their contents. You will also find two new topics:
- The Reference Archives is a new section that includes
hypertex-based geometry reference works. The first of these is
a collection of Geometry
Formulas and Facts, which is a section written by Silvio Levy
from the 30th edition of the CRC Standard Math Tables and
Formulas, and enhanced for the Web. Note that the
Graphics Archive has been moved to the Reference
Archive page as well. Look here for more reference works in the
future.
- The Video Productions section collects information
about the major video projects carried out at the Center; look here
for write-ups and clips from the videos, and for ordering information.
- Note that there is now an Overview of
the Center's Web that describes the overall structure of the
Center's Web pages, and should help you locate what you are looking
for more easily.
- The Information for People at the Center has been renamed
Geometry Center Visitor Resources. These pages are finally
being written, and should become available shortly. We thank you for
your patience.

- A new search engine for the Geometry Center
web pages has been installed. It provides a more full-featured query
expression, and provides control over searching several different
collections of titles of pages at the Geometry Center. In particular,
it includes people's personal home pages which were not part of the
old title searches.

June 1, 1995
- We now have a list of computational
geometry software that collects pointers to such softrware from
around the world. Each software package is described briefly, and
README files are provided when possible.
May 17, 1995
- A new multimedia presentation by
Silvio Levy describing the
award-winning computer animation,
Outside In, produced at the
Geometry Center, is now available in our
multimedia library. The document
includes animation sequences from the video, the complete script,
valuable background material, and information about ordering the
video.
May 9, 1995
- A version of the Kali
2D pattern editor is available now for the Macintosh computer.
March 3, 1995
March 20, 1995
- Major restructuring of our Web pages. This should make it easier
to locate items, and includes more information about the Center and
its programs. Old links will remain active temporarily, but will
eventually be removed.
February 21, 1995
- New release of Cyberview3D, a
package that makes it easy to include interactive 3D graphics into your
Web documents, by Paul Burchard.
January 6, 1995
- A recent addition to our server is a
Math Awareness Week page.
Math Awareness Week is held in late April each year to increase public
understanding of and appreciation for mathematics. The theme for this
year is Mathematics and Symmetry.
