Nancy Wicklin, RN, MS

Nancy started her career at Duke University Medical Center (DUMC), working in a cardiac intensive care unit. Some years later, she became a charge nurse on a medical floor at DUMC.
When she married Rick, Nancy moved to Ithaca, New York and worked in a community hospital as an Assistant Nurse Manager of a Same Day Surgery unit. She simultaneously held an Adjunct Faculty position at a local community college where she was a clinical instructor for nursing students. Before leaving New York, Nancy received a MS in Education.
Nancy and Rick currently reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Until recently, Nancy was an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the College of St. Catherine, Minneapolis. Presently, she is a full-time graduate student. Nancy's research involves the dissemination of health information using web-based technology. Part of her research has involved developing dynamic, data-driven web sites for immunization registries.
Nancy has also developed several other web pages. During a recent summer internship at the Minnesota Department of Health, she created web pages for the Minnesota Immunization Registry Conference. You can also view her presentation on the Health Evaluation through Logical Processing (HELP) system on-line.
Nancy enjoys singing, juggling,
cross-country skiing,
and rollerblading. She loves the great outdoors and
never passes up opportunities to go hiking and
