[H1] F. Haab, Immersions tendues de surfaces dan E^3,
       Comm. Math. Helv. 67 (1992) 182-202.
This paper shows that there is no smooth tight immersion of the real projective plane with one handle into three space. It does so by looking at mappings of surfaces into the plane and factoring them into immersions in space followed by projections into the plane. Haab gives several general results dealing with the fold curves of such maps, and the types of saddle points they can contain.
