Decompressing on the Mac
Here's how you decompress a document with the suffix .hqx on the Macintosh.
- The first line of the document to is a comment telling you what
software to use to decompress it. These instructions apply to
documents for which you use BinHex 4.0. (If the suffix is .hqx, try
decompressing using these instructions.)
- Open BinHex 4.0 on the File Apps menu.
- In BinHex 4.0, under the File menu, choose the Upload ->
Application.
- Choose your file filename.hqx. It will ask you for a name of the
decompressed version. You should now have a decompressed file ready to
go!
