Getting Images from Mathematica / Maple

You can use Mathematica or Maple to generate images for animations. You will need to create a bunch of related images that will form the move, and save them out individually, or use a tool like Math2HTML to convert the images for you.

Under unix, you probably will want to write out postscript files from Mathematica or Maple and then convert them to .gif files (you can adjust the size easily this way), or you could just write out the .gif files directory. On a Mac, you may find it easier to copy the graphics directly from Mathematica or Maple and paste them into GIFBuilder or GIF Converter.
