Getting to the Center by Bus:

From anywhere in downtown Minneapolis, catch a #16 bus, which runs eastward along 4th Street (every 8-10 minutes in daytime, every 20 minutes in the evenings). It'll pass by the domed stadium and cross the Mississippi River via the Washington Avenue bridge. Get off at the first stop across the river, in front of Coffman Union. Walking half a block forward (east) to Church Street, crossing Washington, and continuing left another half block along Church brings you to Lind Hall. We're on its fourth floor.

From the airport, take the northbound #7 bus (going to downtown Minneapolis, not toward the Mall of America). Ask for a transfer when you get on. It's about a 45-minute ride to the Washington Avenue bridge stop, where most other U of M-bound people will also be getting off. Walk half a block toward the bridge (down the slope) to the bus shelter, and wait for any #16 bus (or, take a 10-minute walk across the river). See the #16 directions above.

Coming from other places, call 612-373-3333 for information. You're going generally to the U of Minnesota East Bank campus.

Bus #7 runs about every twenty minutes on weekdays, thirty on weekends. The fare for both #7 and #16 buses is $1.00 ($1.25 during rush hour); dollar bills are accepted but change is not returned.
