Making Illustrations
One of the things the Geometry Center is best at is helping people
produce pictures to illustrate and illuminate their mathematical
research. Sometimes this involves specialized computer tools and
intensive staff involvement. But much of the time, nothing fancy is
required, provided you can figure out how to use the software. The
following guidelines tell how to use Maple, Mathematica and Geomview
at the Center to illustrate their work.
